Three Palestinians have been killed in Israeli shelling in the occupied West Bank. 10 people were injured. Al Jazeera quoted the Palestinian Ministry of Health as saying.
About 30 Israeli military vehicles raided Jenin on Friday morning. Israeli forces surrounded a car in the Al Marah area east of the city and opened fire. Four people inside the car were shot. Three of them died. Another was seriously injured.
In a brief Hebrew message, the Israeli military said it was conducting a search for weapons in two separate areas. It was also reported that shots were fired at the troops during the operation.
The military said in a statement that the bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police recruiting center. Various weapons, including two M-16 assault rifles and a cartridge, were recovered from the scene, the statement said.
