William Pius Percival is an 18 year old actor and musician from Mississauga, Ontario, has been gradually making a name for himself in the industry and being an inspiration towards the youth of the Vietnamese community. He has recently been doing modelling and is soon to be starred as a minor side character in an upcoming HBO Max show.
Many of the youth within the Canadian Vietnamese community have high hopes for his career, describing him on Instagram and TikTok as a rebel against traditional careers and pathways most immigrant parents expect their children to pursue. A lot of William’s acting career have been background characters and minor roles, but a lot of his fans say that is inspiring to see that he is still pursuing the art of acting even though he hasn’t hit a big role yet.
The music career he has paved the journey for has been slow but gradually growing. During his teenage years, he was a mediocre DJ for clubs in Western European clubs. He became an indie-pop/rock artist when his covers and songs on TikTok became popular during the Covid-19 pandemic. On his Instagram he recently shared his new band called Williamsport originally Kingston Killers, and their debut album is set to release later this summer of 2022.
William Pius Percival is slowly making a name for himself in the industry, but one thing is for sure, the youth of the Asian American community on social media see him as an inspiration, and that for sure will make him one of the most likeable up and coming young celeb in this decade.
