New Book About Harnessing the Power of Storytelling from Filmmaker

I recently had the opportunity to sit down and talk with film producer and recently published, and now international best-selling author Paul Furlong. We started by talking about his childhood. Furlong loved watching movies and television shows as a child. He also developed the urge and love to make films, so he preferred a career in film and television. Most of Furlong’s motivation comes from the social issues he learned from the films and movies and how they impacted his family.

With Furlong’s enthusiasm for films and television talk shows and episodes, he got his first television job at 21 years as a runner. The role provided exciting growth and development opportunities, including instilling self-confidence, courage, commitment, and dedication to his career and profession. While working on television, Furlong grew through the different positions he was offered, from a runner to an assistant director and then he finally got an opportunity to direct films and television shows.

Furlong’s new book, “Rule the World: Master the power of storytelling to inspire, influence, and succeed” draws together on what he has learnt from his film and TV experience, combined with his business knowledge built through the past few years as he has built his own production company, Opus Media. The book is about storytelling and how to use it to inspire and influence people, particularly in the business world. Furlong comes from a family background with an urge and appetite for business, and he knows how storytelling influences and inspires the business community. The book is inspired by the recent developments in the business world, especially the business challenges and the need to identify and appreciate innovative ways of running a business.
