What is a Marvel What If?
Marvel What If? is a series of one-shot comics that explore different possible outcomes in Marvel Comics storylines. They’re written by some of Marvel’s most talented writers and artists, and they’re always interesting to read. In this article, we’ll be covering the first seven Marvel What If? comics.

In this post-apocalyptic world, Captain America must team up with the ruthless Red Skull to stop Hydra from taking over the world.
Iron Man 2 What If the Avengers Failed?
If the Avengers had failed, what might have happened? This is a question that has been asked numerous times over the years, and it is one that Marvel Comics fans are no doubt pondering.
In the event that the Avengers were unable to defeat Loki, their world would have ended in utter chaos. Without Tony Stark’s Iron Man suit, the rest of the team would have been slaughtered. Steve Rogers would never have become Captain America and the world would be a very different place.
The list of possible alternate realities is practically infinite. What if Loki had succeeded in taking over Asgard? What if Thor had not sacrificed himself to stop Ragnarok? What if Doctor Strange had not been able to banish Loki from Earth?
These are all questions that can be explored in further detail in Marvel’s “what if?” series of comics. If you’re a fan of Marvel comics, then there is no reason why you shouldn’t check them out!

Avengers Infinity War What if the Avengers didn’t win?
This is a difficult question to answer as the MCU has been built on the success of the Avengers films. However, what if one of the most famous and popular superhero teams in history failed to bring about victory against Thanos? In this hypothetical situation, the world would be a very different place. Here are five possible outcomes of the Avengers’ defeat at the hands of Thanos:
1) The team fractures – Most likely following their devastating loss, members of the Avengers would turn on each other in a power struggle for control. With half the universe now under his thumb, Thanos would have no problem crushing any opposition he encounters. This would lead to many major characters (e.g. Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow) being absent from future films or relegated to minor roles.
2) The world falls apart – With half of the population now wiped out by Thanos, normal life would grind to a halt as governments struggled to assert control over their populace. The Mightiest Heroes may never have had a chance against such an overwhelming force and humanity’s future may have been doomed from the start.
3) A new threat emerges – In a world without superheroes, possibly someone

Are the What If episodes connected
The What If episodes are definitely connected, but it’s still up for interpretation. Some fan theories suggest that the What If episodes could be a way for the writers to explore different outcomes of certain storylines, while others believe that they’re all connected in some way.
